Anxiety about baby

Hey ladies,

I am almost 9 weeks pregnant. We were supposed to have our first prenatal visit this week but my husband got Covid so it will be next week. I have been staying upstairs while my husband is downstairs but now I’m definitely not feeling well. I’ve tested negative for Covid but definitely sick with something.

I’ve also had a bit of brown spotting this week, which I know can be normal but is totally adding to my anxiety.

I’m seeing all of you post scans of your sweet babies and I’m getting so anxious and want to know everything is going well for my baby.

We had a chemical pregnancy back in the spring so the spotting has been triggering and being sick on top of it is making me so anxious. I just want to hear the heartbeat and know everything is going well!

Any words of comfort or advice until I wait for our appointment next week? Thank you 🤍

I’m not from this group but wanted to let you know I was positive for COVID at 10 weeks pregnant and was really sick with some significant fevers. I was terrified for my baby and the anxiety never really went away even though my OBGYN assured me everything was ok. I had my baby girl in July and so far she is healthy and happy. Let’s put it out there that you will have the same outcome! Drink plenty of fluids and if you do feel a fever coming on then take some acetaminophen to keep it under control (or check with your OBGYN but im pretty sure that’s what mine told me to do)

I hear you! I was pregnant with my first in the height of covid. I had it twice with that despite being so careful. I had spotting on and off with him so I get your anxiety. Just rest and get well take good care of yourself (which I’m sure you are). You are doing great just keep positive. My son is 2 now and he’s perfect. ❤️
