To much fluid

So I'm 39 +1 and I was told yesterday that my fluid was elevated, its at 27 and they prefer it to be 24 or less. One doctor at sono said that I should be sent to the hospital but was leaving that up to the doctor I was seeing later that day who said he was willing to wait and see what happens next week. Anyone else with elevated fluid if so what was done did you get sent in or told to wait
