Reflux help with taking meds
My baby is 5 weeks old and is prescribed Omeprezole it’s a small dose given via a syringe but she hates it and keeps sicking it back up. Don’t believe it can be given with milk.
Any tricks or ideas? Thanks!

Put the medicine in a bottle teat and let her suck it up that way x
I’ve had the same struggle. A friend of mine suggested putting it in the cheek while breastfeeding but I haven’t figured out how to do that. I was thinking of buying this to try:

Hey lovely my first had omeprazole for reflux and I used to express milk and mix it in with his bottle with no problems. He was on it for a year and it did work mixed in with his milk. If you don't want to mix it in with milk I second what Chloe has said above and put it in the bottle teat x
What dose are they on? Mine is due to start it soon after no luck with the baby gav
So awful dealing with bad reflux, hope you get it under control
it’s awful isn’t it. 2.4mg per day. I called local pharmacy and can be mixed with milk just may not be as effective x
