Crying and arching his back

My one year old has recently started screaming/crying really high pitched and arching his back. He does seem like he is in lots of pain bless him but it’s not constant. It is quite random times and also wakes him up in his sleep. What could this be?

Mine does this, we think it’s lower tummy pain. I found it helps to massage her feet, have a look at some videos on baby reflexology for constipation and gas, I do it whilst she naps on my chest skin to skin and helps get things moving.
