Yes going to try! But have GD so they are trying push for induction but hypnobirthing so breathing techniques, getting into trance, music, tens machine, use of a comb etc! X

My first was unmedicated and amazing. I would recommend, home-birth, water-birth, hypnobirthing, tens machine and a informed birth partner who can advocate for you.

yeah I really want to do unmedicated I'm nervous but I also believe I can do it so hopefully the confidence in myself and my body will help

If gas and air is considered unmedicated too then that works wonders! I used had my first just on that and it really fizzles the contraction, slow deep breathing also helps as well as relaxing your jaw xx

I had my both previous birth unmedicated . Both was water birth . I love it.

For me. It was
Stay at home as long as possible.
Less likely to have any intervention.
Gravity and movement is your best friend.
Deep breathing.
Having a few mantras that you tell yourself throughout your contractions
‘My body knows what it is doing’
‘ I am 1 minute closer to meeting my baby’
‘ I can survive anything for 1 minute’
‘ 1 minute of pain for a life time of happiness’
These 4 really got me through.
It’s all about mindset, staying positive and leaning into the labour instead of tensing up and working against it.
Reminding yourself to relax. It’s normal, it’s all okay and soon it will all be over and have the cutest little bundle in your arms. ☺️

Same here, nervous about it, but I do believe I can do it. I'm planning on staying at home for as long as possible, using breathing techniques, visualisation, affirmations (the Freya app seems really good for that), music, wave comb, supportive partner, aromatherapy if available through midwives and water! I currently love a bath or a shower to help me with pains and aches.

You absolutely can do it, as many woman before you have and many after you will.
I found my body physically took over and I just had to focus being in my head, calmly letting the time pass and riding the waves so to speak.
Also lots of positive unmedicated birth stories available to watch on YouTube.
Giving birth is the most NATURAL NORMAL thing, with that being said it’s still one of my greatest achievements and best memories. I honestly can’t wait to do it again 💗

@Nina Oh no what a shame! 🙈😆
