Piercing baby’s ears
I have a 7 month old and I just want to know if this is not a good age to do it?? If I would be a bad mom for doing it?? If it hurts baby’s a lot?? I am even willing to get my second hole at the same time to make sure the person is good at it, and be in the same boat as her, but that’s my choice. I think she’d look so darn cute, some studies say it helps brain development. I just don’t want her in a lot of unnecessary pain if it will be very painful for a long time, or if it’s just like a shot and doesn’t hurt for long if at all?? Did anyone else pierce there baby’s ears at this age??

I got my daughter ears pierced when she was 3 months she didn’t cry at all she slept through the whole process 😩 I took her to Claire’s you can even take her to Kay’s Jewelry as well if you do decide to let her get her ears pierced
If you do, I’d go to a tattoo artist who can do it correctly and sanitary. It doesn’t help brain development…. But I personally would wait until she is old enough to want and ask for them.
I would highly recommend going to a piercing shop instead of Claire's or a similar store. They use more sterile equipment!
Whenever you feel like you’d want to is completely okay. But I would say to Avoid Claire’s or any place that pierces ears with the piercing gun. Take her to a professional piercing shop that pierces with a needle. It is a lot more painful with the piercing gun than the needle.
We waited until our daughter asked us to do it. She was around 2 at the time. I bought the guns and earrings on Amazon and had them at home and ready to go. A lot less traumatic for her thay way.
That being said, younger is easier! I would do it now!

At my babies 6 months appointment, they each got 4 shots, they felt pain, and no! I didn't seek their consent but did what i felt was best for them.
I think it's easier and best to have it done when they are babies. Got my babies' done at 6.5m. It's all healed now, and babies are doing just fine. They didn't feel much pain like they did when they got their shots.
It's up to you what you want for your LO.
6 months from Claire’s! They give a solution and my little ones been fine. She’s 8M now x
It’s better to get em young we got our babies done at 6months and her dad got his done with her babies won’t mess with them like kids will or adults meaning no worries of infection he kept bothering his and it cause it to get infected/hurt while she couldn’t see hers so she didn’t mess with it
My daughter got when she was 2 months old. She was sleeping and didn’t even woke up
Go somewhere that doesn’t use a piercing gun, my daughter pediatrician offered it. They use a sterile needle and numb the area. I’m getting hers done at her 9 month appointment
