My sister in law has a 3 week old and is now on 4oz per feed as of esrlier thisnweek, her health visitor told her if baby wants it and isn't sicking back up and is going to the toilet ok then no reason not to feed that amount. Try it for a day or so and see if they'll take to it. If baby is hungry and it's passing through ok then feed what they want! 😊

My LO is 10days and has been on 3oz for the last 4 days 😂 I've never stuck to the recommended guidelines, I also feed on demand :) (I'm using both Breast milk and formula) x

@Bobbie Wilson yeah im using expressed and maybe 2 formula bottles a day, when giving formula he has 3/4 oz. But expressed im only giving 2oz so you think its okay to maybe up that? x

I never listened to what's recommended for little one at any age when it came to milk. If little one is hungry maybe top up with a little bit of formula. I did with my boy as he was a hungry baby. He was on 4oz when he was a couple of weeks old. By 8 weeks he was having nearly 9oz sometimes and others just 5 x
