So i am trying to give my almost 12 month old baby balanced meals especially for dinner but somehow carb always ends up being pasta. For one she loves it, second I can’t find other healthy options for carbs. (I use mostly organic vegetable pasta) I don’t wanna give her rice too much bc it’s just not too good anyways. I did quinoa few times but I don’t think it’s as filling. What do you guys give your little ones for dinner? I need ideas xxx
We usually go for potatoes, squash, beans that are high in carbohydrates too. Quinoa is our go as well to but my son has not quite taken to it yet. Oh and corn and peas we have them often
My little really enjoys elbow chickpea pasta. I sometimes male a cheese sauce or a avocado sauce. Then offer a couple of veggies and beans along side that. She also really like salmon too! Flakes well and is flavorful!
