potty training
so i have been potty training my little girl for over 5 months and i would say she is doing so well with the wee’s she is telling me every time, she can hold it a little while, she hardly has accidents.
but the poos she just can’t get i don’t know what to do anymore she doesnt tell me but will tell me afterwards, when i explain we need to go on the potty or big girls toliet she just seems to repeat what i’m saying but continue to do it in her knickers, i have tried putting her on the toilet after meals but nothing. i really don’t want to put her back in nappies but we are going through so many clothes and knickers.
👋☺ Hi @molly !! I hear you on this!! Feeling safe and mastering the skill of pooping in the potty takes toddlers some getting used to! (...aaaand lots of practice) before they eventually become comfortable with pooping seated on a potty or toilet.
