My little one is 6 weeks old and for the past week whenever is close to his naps and I hold him in my arms he will move rapidly his head left to right for a couple of seconds then stops and does it again. Today when I was trying to hold him,he even tensed his neck and shoulders for a couple of seconds and was doing the same movements with his head and then started to cry . He does it sometimes when he is on the point to fall asleep and having his bottle. Tomorrow we have a GP appointment and will ask about it. But is this normal tho does anyone’a baby do this ?🤔😩

my girl does this i put it down to her trying to get cosy, she moves her head side to side trying to find a comfortable position 😂 and she crys to but i think its where shes tired and cant get comfortable 🥺😩😂
honestly it really scared me the first time he did it 😅I didn’t know what is going on ,he would not stop, then I was trying to put him in his cot and started crying, hold him back up and he was doing it again 🤦♀️😅.. I read it can be a shooting technique that baby use ,or that they can be overstimulated when doing it but didn’t know what to think 😅
