Breastfeeding->diaper ?’s

Me too my daughter will be 6 weeks on Friday and she’s pooping like every 4 days now it’s only breast milk. I heard it’s normal.

is it due to a growth spurt?

My son will be 6 weeks Tuesday. At our 1 month appt our doc told us that we should expect to see a decrease in poopy diapers in the coming weeks. She said their bodies start to utilize the milk more efficiently and it causes less of it to just pass through like it was before (basically seemed like it was in and right out before lol). Hope that helps :)

I was told that they are going from their bodies just releasing it to them actually having to figure out how to use their bowels which can cause a decrease and it can cause extra fussiness and grunting
