Please help cats
My cats are destroying my home, I have HUNDREDS of cat toys and scratch posts. They won’t even entertain their scratch post but they’ve ripped my bed to pieces, ripped all my daughters stuff, taken chunks out of my sofas, opening my wardrobes and swinging from my clothes by their claws so snagged all my clothes. They’re 6 months old, so I’ve been letting them out hoping that they will tire out ripping trees and stuff but to no avail. They’ve burst all my children’s toys as well, we’ve gone through 3 ball pits now and just really expensive toys/ items that they have been destroyed.
On top of this I’ve been trying to train them to go to the toilet outside as they stand in the faeces and urine and then run all over the house and my floor is filthy so constantly cleaning and then all over my baby and children’s things and toys. I just don’t want that kind of bacteria on my children’s things. So I put the litter tray outside (after weeks of gradual moving) and we have a cat flap. So they were using the litter tray outside I thought great. Pulled my partners bag out yesterday for something and they’ve been using our bags for school and work as a massive litter tray. So I’ve had to bring the litter tray back in.
I’ve moved all of my breakables and things I care about to one room to hide as they’ve broken hundreds of pounds worth of collectibles, but my house is open plan so I can’t shut them out of anywhere.
I don’t want any judgement telling me cats will be cats because I know this, but I’m honestly at my wits end. I just need some help in what to do, how do I train them to toilet outside and how do I try and prevent them destroying my home and children’s things? I honestly can’t buy anymore cat toys than I already have, every room has them in

I don’t really have any advise as mine weren’t as bad as this as kittens but just wanted to say that they will calm down once they grow out of the naughty kitten phase. Must be really hard to deal with though and I hope someone can recommend something that helps ❤️❤️

I’m finding it really overwhelming, I have the kids, 2 dogs and the 2 kittens and I love them all dearly. I’ve always been the biggest animal lover so I get really upset when I find myself telling them off all the time because I know they can’t help it, but I need help to help them 🥺 xx
There’s a pet remedy spray and plug in you can get from Amazon. Mine were similar! Pulling up my carpet, have ruined my sofa, climbed up the walls, scratched the wallpaper off… clothes with holes in etc. lien did calm down once they had been spayed and neutered! So hopefully when they’re old enough you can do that and they will calm a bit. Xxx
that’s something else I forgot to mention.. they’ve chewed all my wallpaper off the bottom of the wall as well 🙈
Oh really? Because they’re booked in for 2 weeks time to be neutered too! Ones a male & ones a female so I hope that works a bit as well.

Yeah mine did calm down… they still scratch my sofa and the walls … I need to replace the carpet but I think they will just scratch it again.. there is also a tape I think that you can get to put on things to stop them scratching!!
