Potty training

My little one trained in about 3 days a few months ago, we gave the choice of the toilet or the potty, at first we set an alarm every 10 minutes and went and sat on the toilet even if she didn’t need to go, then we kept on making that time longer, we gave her a bit of chocolate every time she actually went, not when she just sat on it, but we did praise, the first day we did no clothes the second day we did just pants and the third day fully clothed, but I knew she was ready she already had really good communication and would tell me when she was wet when she was in nappy’s, we also used puppy pads on our sofa as it’s material which helped and rolled up any rugs we had down, when she did have an accident, we stayed calm just said something like oops we have had an accident and then directed her to sit on the toilet and found that she hadn’t actually done all of her wee and would finish it on the toilet, and the days leading I would tell her she is going to be wearing big girl pants we

Went to the shop and she picked her own and I let her pick her pants in the morning or when she had an accident x

My LO hates been asked to often if she needs to go and will often go well over an hour between wees. She got very frustrated if I put her on the potty and in her mind she didn’t need it. A month or so down the line irregular accidents and uses the toilet as well. First week or so was very messy but got the hang of it by the end of the second week.
