Would anyone recommend acupuncture/any success stories based on acupuncture for IVF? I am considering it as I want the best chances of conceiving but also have a lot of money concerns at the moment. Is it worth it?

I have used acupuncture throughout my treatment, and now through pregnancy. Whether it works or not, I can’t say. But it certainly relaxes me and it feels like self care for me through treatment and pregnancy.

I used it through IVF and wether it worked or mentally worked I would 100% do it again! I found it so relaxing and helped me get in a good stable state

I have acupuncture (along with Traditional Chinese Medicine principals) and my therapist has such a high success rate I’m praying it’ll work for us too.
Like said use it as self care, it’s a really relaxing experience xx

I hated it. I know everyone says its relaxing but it wasnt for me. I couldnt wait for it to finish. Didnt work for me either and felt like they just stabbed me with needles and stole my money 🤣

I didn’t like the ideas of more needles being pricked into my body and decided to go with relaxation massages instead, this also helps with lymphatic and blood circulation. I too didn’t have a huge budget and 4 weeks before FET had one message a week, increased to two for the the remaining two weeks. Key is blood flow, gentle exercise like yoga and walking help. Don’t worry too much if it’s unaffordable, there’s no concrete evidence which suggests acupuncture increases success rates.

I did it after 3 failed rounds of ivf then did a double transfer and now expecting twins. I went went once a week and the morning of transfer and after. Then once pregnant once a week till 22 weeks. Now once a month.

I dont believe it is worth it scientifically. Had the full works with my first round and transfer - no success. Ditched it with my second round and now im pregnant.
If you enjoy it then go for it but if money is tight I think you can put your money else where more productive. Invest in a great diet or otherthings you enjoy would be my advice X
What I would say is I visited a fertility acupuncture specialist and at the beginning having some to talk to during the sessions was as valuable, almost doubled as therapy which was a support at the time, even though I dont believe it had any medical impact. X

I loved my acupuncture! Did it pre transfer and post transfer and then ever week until I was about 6 weeks pregnant x
