Anyone else in the same position?

Since my husband has been back at work, I'm struggling with keeping my son entertained all day, he seems to get bored of his play mat and other toys quite quickly! I read to him, sing to him and even show off my rubbish dance moves when the dancing fruits are on 🤣 Not sure if I'm just overthinking it all but it is draining and I just want him to have fun days every day 🥺

I take my son to baby groups and that gives us something to do and meet new mums too! We go to something 3-4 times a week😊

I have a baby class I take him to on a Thursday, didn't really think about seeing if there were any others throughout the week! 😂

@Katy our health visitor gave us a leaflet with everything that was on in the area! It might be different where you are but we could go to something everyday if we wanted to as there is so much different groups!

Go for a walk, my son loves lying and looking at the trees.

@Venessa My son gets weird in his pram, he's fine for a while but then gets fussy, he's recently started trying to sit up by himself so we don't think he likes lying down much! Complicated baby 🤣 xxx

I would also say be wary of overstimulation, babies can only take so much so as weird as it sometimes they need some quiet and calm too. A walk usually helps with that x

I was thinking this yesterday!!!! When I do f have plans to go out and see friends or whayever and I’m home all day, I struggle with knowing what to do with her sometimes, play mat, swing, etc but I don’t want her to get bored! I don’t think she is but it always seems so repetitive and the same stuff all the time xx
