7 month old not responding to name yet

Hey all looking for some advice, my little one is 7 months . He isn’t responding when I say his name and hardly looks at me now as before he would always look and smile . I’m a bit worried as I’ve googled it and it says it can early signs of Autism. But he does here noises like if you clap your hands etc he will look up . Thanks xx

Can't offer advise but my 7 month old doesn't respond to his name yet either x

My boy does but I have to say it really enthusiastically like when you call a dog over to you! X

My son is very hit or miss when it comes to responding to his name. I do get worried too.

My daughter is also seven months and didn’t respond when I called her name yesterday but immediately enthusiastically turned around when I said “hey stink butt!” sooooooo, who even knows 😂😂😂

haha I tried a similar thing a few months ago. Enthusiastically called her name to see if she knew it and she responded, but then I tried ‘potato’ which also worked 😂

we call our daughter 'Spud' so much that she probably thinks that is her actual name 🥔

My LG is 7 months too and won't respond to her name either 🤷‍♀️ but I have read that most babies get there by 9 months, so I am postponing my worries until then 🙆‍♀️
