HCG & LH tests after miscarriage
I had a miscarriage 9 days ago, just done another pregnancy test and there’s still a faint line, which I expected. I also done an ovulation test that’s positive. Is this normal? Am I ovulating already or is it picking up the HCG? Also, how long after a miscarriage will the test show negative usually? I just want to be pregnant again so bad, I hope I ovulate soon😔🤞🏼

I tested positive on both tests for 3 weeks. Therefore it was my hcg levels dropping but still present that meant both were showing positive. I had a period exactly 4.5 weeks after my mc and am currently entering my first fertile window again. Fingers crossed this window my ovulation kicks back in 2. Try n keep positive our bodies are experts at this. X
I’m so sorry for your loss. I had a D&C 8 days ago and still very obvious positive on test. I’m in the same boat - want to get back down so I can ovulate and get pregnant again. Fingers crossed for you xx

Hi there. I’m so sorry for your loss. It can take a while for the test to be negative. I bled for 6 days in February following a miscarriage at 6w5d and I tested positive for pregnancy for 3 weeks after that. And then didn’t start my period for another 2 weeks after that. My first miscarriage I tested positive for well over a month. The ovulation test could mean that you’re ovulating and picking up HCG. Your HCG doesn’t necessarily have to be at 0 for you to ovulate but it definitely has to be 0 for you to get a period. Fingers crossed it goes quickly for you
