I'd call bs. My daughter is almost 2 and still co sleeps for now. We also have a king size bed. My husband, daughter, and I fit just fine with room to spare. I'm also heavily pregnant, so taking up more space than normal. 🤷♀️ maybe he thinks he'll roll over on baby or something.
I agree with @Whitney my man and I have a king size and we have plenty of room between him, the baby and I. There must be something else? I know for a while despite all the room my man wouldn't sleep with us because he was afraid he'd hurt our baby. But now that he's bigger he cuddles him in his sleep lol
I call bs too me my partner and our two sons fit in a queen comfortably And I’m pregnant as well
King size would definitely fit yall. But maybe its for the best! I don’t sleep with my man right now because I cosleep with the baby. I’m a light sleeper but my bf is not. I worry for the babies safety
This shouldn't be about who is right and who is wrong. All feelings should be validated in this scenario. It's not about how big the bed is. Like I have a big bed too that could fit all of our big dogs. My husband says no because he isn't as comfortable as he could be if they weren't on the bed. There could be so many factors playing in here such as basically just wanting to be able to spread his arms and legs out more, or some people are just being uncomfortable having kids in their bed because they feel like this is adult time in their bed where kid shouldn't be. It may have absolutely nothing to do with him feeling unsafe with the child. I would try talking to him because you won't know how he feels until he tells you. But you should also be prepared for if he tells you that he wants the baby out of the bed and what decision you will make
I call bs too, my partner and I have a queen size mattress and co sleep with our 18 month old that likes to sleep sideways between us and my partner is a bigger person, it's a little tight, but we all fit. That being said, I get not wanting to roll over on LO or wanting more of a personal bubble in bed (which let's be honest, that doesn't exist once you have LOs) but just say that. We don't have space in our room to get a king size mattress, but we did end up getting a toddler bed and putting it right up against ours so my son was close enough to us but still in his own bed
I think he probably wants alone time with you too. Like maybe there is room for him to sleep, but how comfortably? And impossible to be intimate.
Ya same issue over here he thinks he will squish the kids but I can fit me and 4 in my queen! lol so I call bs I'd ask him what real issue is
@Olivia 💚✌🏻 we did this for baby 5 and 6 loved it
Yes been co sleeping for years as well . Infact I co slept 7 of my 8 kids 🤦🏻♀️😅 it just works better they slept better!!! My one didn't but she was a odd ball she liked the crib and her own space ha
So I have tried talking and finding the reason as to why..it’s not her,it’s not that he doesn’t wanna sleep with me,but he doesn’t have reasoning either..he doesn’t want the baby to wake him up when it’s work days.like he will straight up tell me I’m not getting up so don’t ask for my help.
:(
U ain't suppose to sleep with baby in the bed with u

@Sylvia sooooo many people co sleep! Specially in certain countries
Well, before u leave the hospital, they tell u not two. I got 4 boys, and I have never slept with none of mine
I've co slept 7 of my 8! All perfectly fine. There's risks yes but you can make a safe space. Also I don't roll all over ...like my kids do lol I didn't put my big covers in them they had sleep sacks and were totally safe . I even had the crib up to bed a few times and they make cribs that do this for co sleeping!
My only suggestion is move baby. Idk how old your baby is but maybe get a mini crib or pack n play for just night time so you can pack it away during the day or out baby in her own room. But if your husband doesn’t feel like there’s room or doesn’t want to sleep with baby that makes sense. I wouldn’t force him
