@Georgie I feel so stressed about it 😩
Oh literally the same ! She just lives on snacks and some fries occasionally and fruit.. Hopefully it's just for now 🤷♀️
@Tereza I'm really hoping the phase will pass as quick as it came, I don't really wanna stop the snacks but I'm struggling to think of another way to make her eat
My lb has just started doing this and tbh he doesn’t have sugar or anything like that so I’m guessing it’s a stage I just keep giving him proper food that he will eat even though he has had cottage pie and hotdogs 5 days in a row 😂😂😂
@Jessica I've tried giving her, her normal favourites but she isn't interested in that either 😭😩
@Sophie-Jade it’s soo hard ain’t it so glad I’m not the only one going through it I thought it was my cooking ngl 😂 apparently when they go through a growth spurt they can go off their food and that xxx
I spoke to my gp about this as my little one started to loose weight from not eating and they said not to offer her snacks or ‘treats’ as she will know that if she doesn’t eat her meals then she will get another option and they said she will eat if she’s hungry, this was when she was around 13/14 months and since then she has gone in and out of stages with her eating but it does get better! They told me it’s a really common age for them to be like this with food x
@Kirsty AHH my biggest fear is she starts loosing weight. She was only 6lb 3oz born and she's still tiny! I think I'm gonna have to start not giving her snacks because it's just getting bad. To be fair, she had fruit and stuff which I'll keep offering her but all rest will have to come to an end until she starts again x
@Sophie-Jade my little one is the same, she was tiny at birth and is still in 9-12 month clothes at nearly 21 months🤣 my little one would happily eat a bag of crisps or a chocolate bar if you gave it to her but will refuse meals ect🤦🏻♀️ but when she does try new foods even if it’s just one bite we make a big deal and praise her cos it’s not often she will try a new food and I just leave her plate of food on her little table and let her pick at it throughout the day cos she definitely prefers to snack that eat big meals x
My LG is exactly the same, I have no advice unfortunately😩
