@Mik glad to know I'm not the only one!
Girl im 20 weeks and have not gotten that 2nd Trimester energy either, im so fatigued 24/7, and I don't even work! Im a Stay at Home Mom, but honestly the level of tiredness is out of this world! So dont feel it's depression, because it's definitely not, but if at any point you feel depressed talk to your OB.
@Elizabeth it's awful! Idk if it would be any different if I didn't work. I can't even get through a movie without falling asleep 😂 I remember getting so mad at my mom for not being able to stay awake during an entire movie and now I'm like, ope! 😅 Yeah, I have an appointment with my PCP next week so I'll probably talk with her. I just wanted to make it through the pregnancy without meds.
Have your iron levels checked!!
Weather can play a big part but you could just be plain ol tired from growing baby. People say the first trimester is hard and full of puking but i haven’t had a hard day at all and I’m in my second now so I’m gonna say it’s just different for you let yourself sleep and nap it’s your body telling you you need rest which you’re more than allowed to do
@Corinne they had been coming out normal but I can always ask.
@Haley I thought that might be a factor. I had an easy first trimester too. No morning sickness just a little nausea but super manageable. I'll try napping and asking for more breaks. I have also been pushing myself on the weekends which I think is impacting me later in the week. We have a big yard project we're working on and I've been helping haul dirt and mulch, cleaning and organizing...almost every weekend the past two months. We're making great progress but it's a lot of work.
The rain and gloomy weather has definitely contributed to me wanting to sleep more. But I haven't gotten the second wind everyone talks about
