I know, I live in Whitefield and my midwife says there aren't any in person, only online! So I've booked onto NCT classes in Bury but you have to pay. I'd rather go in person than online
I live in Prestwich and have booked in person (1 online) NCT classes that are in Prestwich. I don't think they always are though, sometimes in Bury or central Manchester. Like Laura says though, we did have to pay x
There's no free ones locally on NHS but I did the NCT bury course - found it really useful at learning about all the birth options, types of intervention, and the breastfeeding session was invaluable! My husband found it great as it was his main source of info...Its an intense couple of weeks though depending on when your classes are 😊 we met 7 other couples and its nice to be on the journey together with them.
There are also some free classes run in Prestwich by b.o.o.b.s bury and maternal matters, and she also does a pregnancy circle...the pregnancy yoga at creative calm prestwich was also great!
I couldn't find any either when I was pregnant (little man is 14 weeks old) I used free online ones by the baby academy and the honest midwife
