@Renée can you recommend any? Because most i see are forward
Both of my babies hated the small and portable car seat. We changed for graco's big and comfy car seat (you can not move then though) but they dont cry anymore. They are happy now. And confortable
We purchased for my elder the graco 4ever. And for the new baby the graco snugfit xl
The safest seat for you depends on your car. I recommend speaking to a certified car seat technician. Some stores in Canada have them.
I second Sarah! Do some research on what works best in your vehicle! We went with a Graco Slimfit as we have a compact car. Watch the sales, especially if you can hold off until Black Friday :)
We have loved the graco 4ever. My first used it for 4 years and now we just moved him to a simpler front facing to booster seat and converted the 4ever back to rear facing for the baby. It's pricey but it will last from infant to low back booster so you're covered for every stage.
Been using regular car seat since Gideon was born. We use Graco extendtofit
So, in Canada, even the least expensive car seat will be just as safe as one of the fancier ones. There are legal safety standards they all have to meet, so honestly, if price is a major factor look at what you can afford and which will last the longest (convert to a booster). Then, I'd look for child comfort and then bells and whistles such as cup holders etc. Between the two kids I've used 4 car seats that weren't infant seats and they're basically all the same IMO aside from comfort factors. Currently we have Britax one4life which was a gift from Baby's great grandmother
Hii! I know it’s so overwhelming! We just switched and bought the Graco Snuglock 3 in 1 - it has a range of 4 lbs- 100 lbs (infant to booster seat - like 10 positions for rear and forward facing). We found it for $300 at Costco - approx 430-450 at places like babies r us. It fit our needs, requirements and budget! We have it rear facing until it absolutely has to be forward facing. Plus it’s from Costco so if there’s any issues, we know we can take it back if need be. We also looked on Facebook as they do have a 10 year lifespan but didn’t see any we liked personally.
