25 weeks with a double ear infection
I began suffering some pain in one ear then it moved to both, called my OB and they recommend to attend urgent care, after going they had no idea what to prescribe me due to the pregnancy, so I’ve been in a lot of pain for the past two days.
I’m allergic to amoxicillin and to make matters worse I had a light fever last night while and after urgent care visit. I took afterwards Tylenol in hopes of it helping with the swelling but still no luck I have an appointment this morning with my OB nurse practitioner, hopefully she knows what to prescribe us.

Heyyy I had the same! I didn’t even call my OB and I’m allergic to most antibiotics. I lucky I was able to take amoxicillin. But I had NEOMYCIN-POLYMYXIN-HC EAR SUSP drops,suspension, and CIPRODEX OTIC SUSPENSION DROPS,SUSPENSION (but I don’t think I had this one bc my insurance didn’t cover) just the NEOMYCIN.
But it’s not going away without antibiotics.
Def go back to another urgent care if your OB doesn’t know what to do and just make sure you tell them you are pregnant
What about a Z-pack? Those are safe for pregnancy.
