Wheezing baby

My 11 month old makes these wheezing sounds sometimes. His pediatrician says he’s too young to be examined for asthma. I have asthma so it concerns me. It just started a couple weeks ago. He’s not coughing so I don’t think it’s croup but he’s definitely wheezing. Has anyone experienced this??? Do you have any recommendations???
