Does anyone else deal with numbness in the thighs?

For the past few weeks now my left thigh gets numb and if I sit down for too long and I get up it’s like a needle poking me. Is this normal or?

Yes!! I've had this most of my pregnancy now 😮‍💨 usually changing positions helps or getting up but it's basically a pinched nerve. There are also stretches you can do for it that my physical therapist gave me but I honestly haven't found them helpful 😕

Isn't that sciatica bcuz I mean same thing happens to me but I just switch positions or walk around for a bit for it to get some good exercise

Mine lasts all day though so I don’t know. I could be walking and it’s still there. It’s been a few days since it’s happened.

I had sciatica pre pregnancy and I would frequently get this numbness that would last most of the day and go away, just to come back shortly after. Now in pregnancy my leg has been numb for 2 months and hasn't stopped at all. Dr still says its just sciatica

This happens to me in the middle of the night and has for a while now. You just have to change positions

My hips go numb if I lay on one side too long. OB told me this is normal bc of the extra fluid we’re carrying.
