Chicken pox.

I've come down with shingles and have given my baby chicken pox...not ideal but couldn't be avoided. Anyone's LO had chickenpox and any tips for things that helped. Thanks x

I think I’ve heard that oat baths can help. Not sure what it entails exactly, but my friend did it for her little girl!

@Xanthe yes I was also told about this!! You put some oats into a sock and put onto tap then the water runs through the oats and you get the goodness from them. My friend would do these for her eczema when it flares so I must try for my little girl

Not sure what the UK advice is but in Australia I remember my parents using calamine lotion.

My son caught it from nursery in June and gave it to my daughter who was 4 months old. I got a special cream, I'll post a picture 🤣 it worked a treat for both of mine. Just try not to let them get dry as they get itchy. Hope it clears soon for you both x

My 9 year old has had them 3 times I just used priton (u cont give under 1 I believe) so pop a sleepsuit on with scratch mits built in use them to avoid any scratching and if u can use callimale (how ever u spell it) either into the skin or in his lo bath (again I’m not sure on the age for that)
