I need help! A customer gave me a box full of baby clothes. Most of them are 3-6/6-9 m. My baby is on the bigger side, doctor said she’s about 2/3 weeks ahead of the week I am now (I’m 30 she’s measuring 32/33). I have no idea if I’ll be able to use those clothes right away or not. Should I wash them anyway and see once she’s here? Some look so big, but others too small

I would try some on to see. Usally they are to the child's age. But also consider brands like any clothes the sizes change.

Sorry i miss read! She will definitely grow into them. Usally newborns are baggy in their first clothes sizes 0-3months , then 3-6 months, 6-9months. If she is bigger and weights more the 8-9 pounds at birth then she may be too little for newborn clothes..and may need 3-6. You can also check online they also do clothing but pounds sizes roughly. But like I said all brands are diffrent and size charts ect. Keep the clothes you like. Footage or pass on the clothes you don't want. Babies go super fast so you won't have them in the same clothing size for long.

They will be massive. I would buy a few up to 1 month Clothes. And have a good look around the local supermarket to the hospital that has a baby section just before your due so you can send your partner friend or family member to get the bits you actually need. Measurements can be out you won’t know till she is actually here. Then some baby grow more slowly and others grow super fast when they are born.
I’ve got 2 boys both measuring big in pregnancy the eldest was born 2 days early and was 7.4lb (predicted to be over 9lb) second arrived 3 weeks early at 7.10lb by his due date he was 10.6lb and has carried on growing at super speed. X

Great question because doctor said BBY gurl is gonna be born 7-8lbs and idk if 0-3m clothes will fit her or should I be collecting bigger sizes by the looks of it I honestly think she gonna be 8lbs

So my first born measured 3/4 weeks ahead. He was 9lb6oz when he was born and for into 3m clothes. I knew he would be big so I didn't buy any newborn clothes. I would go ahead and wash them just so they are clean, if they don't fit baby right away they will soon after.

My first baby always measured a week or two ahead and he was in newborn clothes for about a month before switching to 0-3 months. It seemed like every 3 months I would have to up his size but brand also plays a big part. Carter brand he was always in a bigger size than his age where as cat jack was always big on him and lasted longer.

8 lbs is an average size. So she'll most likely still be able to fit in newborns

Most babies are born in newborn size. The biggest babies start out 0-3 months. 3-6 months is plenty big!

7-8 lbs is the cutoff for newborn clothes so as long as you buy 0-3 months you should be good.

My husband was 10 pounds at birth and in 3-6 months and was wearing 6-9 months not long after birth. There’s really no way to know until babe is here so I’d be prepared with some 0-3 and 3-6 options
