We are 1st time parents. Our son is almost 5. We are considering having another child. We waited for a variety of different reasons. A few reasons were allowing us to cherish/spoil our son, allow him to start school so we weren't paying for two children in daycare. Him being independent and not so much requiring all our attention and obviously financially. Has any of you waited and how is it going? Some parents love the age gap, some strongly disagree. Curious on prospective and opinions. Thank you.

Me and my sister are 4 and a half years and honestly it’s been amazing. I was able to look up to her. Now I’m 29 and watched her become a mother over a year ago, now I’m expecting. She is my role model and inspiration. She fight of course ahaha, but that’s sisters! But we’d not ever be without each-other really ❤️

My siblings are 5 & 7 years younger than me. We have very different personalities & interests. They were also raised a lot differently than I was. We are not close.
My boys are 3.5 & 4 years apart (currently 8.5, 5, & almost 14 months). All similar in personalities. My older two are close & play together fairly well but fight like crazy too (typical sibling chaos). They are both amazing with their baby brother who is more interested in "playing" with them.
