I have some mental health struggles outside of being a mum but I am finding I have a lot of baby related anxiety too.
I am particularly struggling with anxiety around my little girl reaching milestones. She is 9 and a half months and can sit on her own, roll both ways, pivot on her tummy in a full circle (moves backwards too), waves and can makes dada mama baba noises.
She can’t crawl and is only just starting to seem comfortable with putting weight through her legs and feet.
I know when I think rationally that babies do things at their own rate and that she isn’t necessarily ‘behind’ but I can’t help but compare to others and the anxiety I am experiencing because of this is crippling.
I guess I am just writing this in the hope that I am not the only one feeling this way.

Please dont worry, my little boy who has just turned 9months, has just learnt to crawl (comando style) he get from A to B), let he do lots of floor time and if she really likes a toy just place it abit out of reach this may encourage her to try and move to get it xx

All of this pressure we put on ourselves and others is just crackers. It's not helping anyone.
When was the last time you saw an adult and thought "oh, they were clearly formula fed!" Or "oh, I bet they didn't have a single tooth at nine months old" or "I can tell they were a late walker"?
No? Me neither. Yes, some babies might need some professional help with some things but the vast majority are absolutely fine and just doing things at their own pace. The most important things you can do are love them and keep them safe.
I'm sure you're doing a great job. Please don't beat yourself up about things you can't do much about and won't matter in time to come.
