I’m 13 weeks and I’ve been on and off struggling with the most blocked nose ever. There’s no mucus congestion, it just seems stuck at the back of my nose. My midwife told me the only thing I can do is use saline spray but it doesn’t do anything. I’m now awake at 5am because I woke up struggling to breathe. I’m apparently not a natural mouth breather. Anyone struggled with anything similar and is there anything that worked for you?

I haven't suffered form it personally but I do know that some women can develop allergies during pregnancy. If this were the case it would be good to talk to your GP and see what are the options during pregnancy.

I’ll be honest I suffered so bad.. like I couldn’t breathe out my nose at all… they literally only recommend saline water as with all other nose sprays there’s not enough info on the effects on baby… however I couldn’t handle my nose and had to use Vicks sprays 🤷🏼♀️ had my baby just fine and a year on he’s just fine.. (not saying you should do it too! Just what I did) x

Speak to your GP about breathe easy nasal strips that go across the bridge of your nose, even a Pharmacist would be able to help x
