Looking for advice from other mums that have been in a similar situation. If you split from your BD when your LO was a few months old, what kind of visitation did Dad have? Did he get overnights with baby? My partner is threatening court if I leave him and I’m feeling really anxious about being apart from my 3 month old

Broke up during pregnancy and it's certainly not been smooth. Luckily, he hasn't threatened court.
We did visits every week day while he was off work. The plan is when the baby is 6 months he'll have one day at his dads and dad will come to mine for visits and when he's 10 months we'll do one night
I don't think he'll get 50% custody of an infant, but he could be awarded nights especially if theres no problems. I'd let him calm down and work it out between the two of you.
Also, I've just looked it up and it can take 6 to 12 months to sort out custody!

I'm in the US so I can't help with how that may work, but I do have a different opinion than others. (Keep in mind that I don't know you or your BD and this completely changes if he is abusive.) I can't imagine how devastating it must be for fathers who can't see their kids often, have nights with them, etc. No, they didn't do all the work of pregnancy and labor, but that's still their little baby who they love and are attached to just like you are. He may feel the same way you do with "I'm feeling really anxious about being apart from my 3 month old," especially if he's not the one leaving, and threatening court is the only way he can think to help that and fight to see his child. I definitely wouldn't jump to the conclusions of "he's a controlling blackmailing ...."
Again, I don't know your relationship, but I would really try to work it our between the two of you, being understanding that you had this baby together and he is the baby's dad and this could be very hard on him, too.

Im from the UK and I am going through a solicitor at the moment. She advised mediation but my ex refused so now its going to court for a chikds arrangement order x
if you don’t mind me asking, what happens in the meantime until arrangements are in place? x
thank you for sharing. I’m glad to hear you’ve been able to work it out between you. Hopefully we can do the same x

Honestly I have been told there isnt much i can do. If my ex gets abusive i have to log it with the police and talk to my GP about my concerns but other than that nothing x
