the dentist told us as soon as the tooth comes in to use fluoride. if you don’t, they have a high chance of bottle rot. just the amount of a grain of rice is sufficient

I've been using kid fluoride toothpaste since my daughter was two. Just a rice size amount. Dentist said it was okay

his baby water contains some fluoride i believe. is that enough?

my baby is almost 10 months

no. it has to be fluoride toothpaste. most water has it in it, but it’s not enough to provide protection to the enamel.

it’s rare that children will consume too much fluoride if you’re using the appropriate amount just to brush their teeth. the amount in the water isn’t sufficient. it’s safe to use kids formulated fluoride toothpaste to prevent tooth decay and enamel erosion
