Mother in law problems

what has buying gifts off the registry got to with any of this?? Or whether it’s her bf or husband? 🤯

buying gifts, or not, has no relevance to the excitement for the child, or anything for that matter. It’s also not the parents needs for someone else to buy something for the child.
Also, a lot of people refer to their partners family as ‘in laws’ whether they are married or not, it’s easier than writing ‘my boyfriends mum’ it’s hardly improperly referring to someone.

Tell the hospital you don’t want her so that they don’t sign her in.. it’s annoying what she’s doing .. just stand up on your ground and set boundaries now it’s going to get harder later on ..

If this is your partner for life, he should step in and handle the boundaries. I do agree with though, boundary pushing or not it seems this woman is going to remain in your lives and as the grandmother, there’s nothing wrong with saying she’s excited to hold the baby. You also can tell her please don’t kiss the baby. That’s a boundary lots of parents make. It sounds like there needs to be a few grown up conversations and then everything will be fine.

She is one very toxic lady that’s all im going to say just know she is dramatic, crazy, & makes every situation about her!!

well anyways she wouldn’t be able to get to the hospital without my mom or someone picking her up. They cant afford to get a car and they live in an apartment🤷🏼‍♀️ but the fact she said she was gonna walk or call my mom if she’s coming this way. Lmao, she gonna be mad ash if she finds out my mom will be with me in the delivery room. 😭💀
