CO SLEEPING

Our son has started sleeping with us in our queen bed. When he was a baby, he never slept with us and he does have his own bed still. When we move him, he cries. I don’t mind my baby sleeping with us but is it safe to just upgrade to a king bed for all of us? I don’t want to encourage him if it’s too much.

Yes, we have a king and our 3 and 21 month all pile up in the bed.

@Martha ours is coming on Friday 😭

I've always nursed our girl to sleep (still do), but until she was 11 mo I would put her in her bassinet after she fell asleep. When she grew out of it we hadn't gotten a chance to put together her crib yet so we got a king size bed the following month. We still bedshare & do love the snuggles, but my husband & I also miss just the 2 of us in the bed sometimes. Hubby did finally put her crib together & it's in our room, just have to put the mattress in & try to get her to sleep in it, even if it's only sometimes. Long story short, yes I highly recommend getting king bed! At least now we all have our own section of the bed. And baby girl can either lay by herself or switch off snuggling each of us.
