Oh Thankyou I’ll definitely do that x
Second that group or visiting your local special car seat place. We’ve got our LG a Be Safe Stretch - will keep her rear facing until 36kg x
@Laura there is literally no car seat places near us
@Lara I notice your’re in Biggleswade (from your profile)…I’m based in MK so I think about 45-60 mins from you. There’s a place in MK called In Car Safety Centre which is where we got ours from. They were really knowledgeable and helped us try a few in our car until we settled on the one we wanted x
I'd look at axkid, besafe, britax or avionaut depending on centiles. I'd imagine if he's outgrowing it now, he's higher haha although I know maxi cosi often have low limits too. Looking at the more specialist ones, go on their websites and find store or retailer and that should help. But they'll be providing all aftercare and not all are up to scratch. So either car seat safety UK or extended rear facing on fb also are an incredible group where admins are trained and offer impeccable aftercare and fit checks xx
@Laura oh I’ve never heard of it! Thanks so much definitely be taking a trip there xx
Defo get a 360 one, helps so much! I got my first born a 360 Nuna (don’t know the exact name - sorry) and he’s still in it, going to move my 9 month old to that soon and another car seat for my toddler as he can now get in and out himself xx
There’s a page on Facebook called ‘Car seat safety UK’ which is really helpful you can comment your baby’s weight and height and they can make recommendations. Hope it helps x
