Just venting really, and a warning for other mums registering. I've had enough of Croydon University Hospital. I registered my pregnancy with them and unfortunately had a miscarriage and they should have cancelled all my scan and midwife appointments automatically but they sent me an appointment reminder so I had to call them up and tell them I didn't need it any more which is upsetting enough, and they said they're so sorry they'll cancel the others now, that shouldn't have happened. Well this morning I've got another appointment reminder for another appointment I would have had if my baby hadn't passed away. Even when I ask them to stop and told them how upsetting it is they keep sending me appointment reminders. I've decided that if I get pregnant again I'm not registering the birth until well after the first trimester. It's an absolute joke

Awww I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm sorry those idiots don't know how to cancel appointments and they just keep reminding you of what happened. You're so strong for going through this 💕

I'm so sorry this has happened. I had the same thing happen with me. Unfortunately most of the appointments are on auto remind and I suspect that they don't have the capabilities to switch this off once activated.
I had a terrible experience with them when I had my daughter and now I'm under PRUH and they've been amazing so far.
Keep strong darling 💖 ❤️
I get that.. and i know most people are just doing their best with the tools they have, so I'm not annoyed at the midwives themselves, but when I call them up and they say "I'm so sorry, I'll cancel them all now so you won't get the reminders" it's so much worse than if they'd just said "we're really sorry, they're automatically sent and there's not really anything we can do" so I'm not blindsided by the text message every time it appears on my phone, at least I'd have a prior warning so I know it's going to happen. But obviously if it's an automatic thing then it needs to be raised with whoever implemented the system because clearly it's a huge oversight they need to fix
Ugh... thanks for listening though, it does help and I appreciate it

Same thing happend to me at st georges, its not just croydon. Its a awful feeling getting the appointments and i know just how you feel❤️
