I didn’t stop. I worked out until two days before my daughter was born at 40 weeks and I’ll do my best to do the same with this one. I don’t think birth was easier as a result but that was because of other issues (her position primarily) but I felt as fit and ready as I could be for it. I didn’t really gain much extra weight (just what was recommended) during my first pregnancy so went back to usual weight fairly soon after, breastfeeding made a difference there as I then put on some weight as we weaned more from around 9 months, as I still had the breastfeeding appetite 🤣 just do whatever exercise you feel able to.
I exercised about 6/7 months but last couple I didn't do much. I put on 3 stone and ate like a horse during my pregnancy. It does come off because you will be so busy rushing around looking after your little one that you forget to eat!!
I'm still working out at nearly 37 weeks and not intending to stop unless I physically have to or baby comes
I didn't stop. I was in the gym the day before I went into labour. To be fair I didn't feel like doing much that day 😂 I had a rough labour so can't say it helped and I was back down to pre pregnancy weight within 6 months
I'm 35 weeks and still going to the gym, I've slowed down recently but still going 😊
I lifted weights up until my third trimester. I would have done it till the end of pregnancy but I had low lying placenta and midwife told me to stop. But I continued to walk and do bodyweight exercises (walking around 3 hours a day and exercising 30-45 mins). I did loose almost all weight I put on and I am 4 weeks pp, so yes having more muscle mass definitely helps get rid of the fat faster, plus recovery was very fast after C section (I was walking almost normally first day after and felt very little discomfort
I went to the gym 3/4 times a week till the week I gave birth. I had a planned c-section at 37 weeks, so it didn't affect my birth, but I think I think it did help my recovery.
I worked out until the day I went into labour. I’m 38 and had my baby 4 days ago..I’m recovering well and felt fitter and healthier in that pregnancy than any of my others even though my first was almost 16 years ago!
I didn’t stop was in the gym lifting HEAVY the night before I went into labour. I had a great home birth 😁
Went back in and lifted heavy after 9 days PP
I carried on until the day before I was induced at 39 weeks. I was only able to swim and slowly walk from the third trimester though due to pgp. Ended up having an emergency c section and recovered so quickly which I think must have been at least partly due to me staying active. I was back below pre baby weight fairly quickly but my body is still not the same and I’m definitely carrying more fat now x
I was in the gym up until the day before I gave birth, lifting fairly heavy weights. I wouldn’t say it made the birth any easier but it definitely sped up my recovery. I dropped the baby weight pretty much instantly but I’m breastfeeding so I’ve put it all back on again 😭 I want to meet the people who lose weight whilst breast feeding because I feel like I was sold a lie 😂😂
I worked out until the day before I gave birth. If you feel ok there is no reason to stop x
I didn’t stop I exercised the day my labour started , had a great birth and recovery , I lost all baby weight in 2 weeks but of course everyone is very different and I didn’t gain much to lose xx

Sadly I gave up quite early due to PGP and even walking can be a bit tough. I'm banking that with consistent fitness / exercise the 8/9 years prior the recovery will be easier
I continued up until a few days before x
I exercised up until the birth of my child. I'd say it made birth and losing weight easier. I didn't gain much weight when pregnant due to staying healthy. The doctors told me that my labor was so easy and not painful due to the exercise I did and the kegals.
39 + 1 I was in the gym lifting still, and would’ve gone right up until I gave birth but I got admitted to hospital 39+2 (nothing exercise related). For me my body felt really good on good days so I went with them, on the tired days I just listened to my body and walked or swam instead. We know our own bodies ☺️
I rock climbed up to 3 days before my boy was born, I didn’t have the best labour but other complications nothing to do with exercise. I was back to my pre pregnancy weight within 3 weeks of giving birth x
I continued right up until i was 39 weeks. I didnt have a great labour, purely down to baby being on the bigger side and needing an emergency c section but i found recovery so easy and i put that down to staying active throughout my pregnancy. I’d definitely continue exercising for as long as your body allows!
