I am currently 9 weeks and feeling very emotional / dizzy. I had a miscarriage in July at 5 weeks, then fell pregnant the next month. Does anyone else worry all the time that it will happen again? Any pain in my stomach or anytime I go to the toilet I'm terrified of another miscarriage. Any advice on how to stop the anxiety?

Constantly. Every cramp I’m like this is it in bleeding, and then I fart and it goes away.
I’m going to ask to be referred to the MH midwife/team and whatever else they can offer me.

the first part of your message made me chuckle, that's exactly like me, or I eat something and realise I was just hungry haha.
That's a good idea, I think I may do that too

i had a MMC in 2020 and then with my daughters pregnancy in 2021/22 I was under the the Mh midwife and consultant, had another MMC in July called the BEP and they’ve booked me in for an appointment so if all is well there I’m going to ask to be referred to them urgently cause my MH is not good atm!

Aw no. Hang in there, hopefully they get you an appointment asap. Always here if you need to talk

I did not experience a miscarriage, but a termination for medical reasons last October and when I found out I was pregnant again in February, all I could think about initially was that lightning was going to strike twice and we would have the same experience again. Then I realized I was robbing myself of the joy focusing on the anxieties and fears that I was stuck with from that first trauma. So my advice is don’t cheat yourself: Be happy! Be excited! Celebrate! Worry is the enemy of joy and it does not deserve any of that bliss! Wishing you a healthy and smooth pregnancy, mama!

Same!! I had two miscarriages in 2022. I’m 5w4d and every time I go to the bathroom, I expect to see blood in the toilet. Why!??? 💔🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

It's still such a trigger at 18 weeks. Knowing every woman's body is different during pregnancy, I still can't help but think, is my bump growing? Should I be gaining more weight? Should I be feeling anything yet? How would I know if something in there wasn't right? The closer I get to an appointment (my anatomy scan is next week), the more these thoughts come about. Ugh, it's hard. But we GOT THIS LADIES.
