I just received our NIPT results and they are sitting in my inbox. I want to open them with my partner tonight but my excitement is through the roof! Wish me luck on getting through the next few hours 😂✌️❤️

Good luck for all well and healthy! 😁 If it's the gender part you're looking forward to, mine didn't show on my results. My doctor had to tell me.

I waited 6 hours for my partner to get home before opening my results. Longest 6 hours ever!! Worth it tho 🤗

What did it say

There wasn’t enough plasma to test my sample? No result.

I have to go back in this morning to get another round of blood drawn. I’d be lying if i said I wasn’t really bummed out last night. Onto round 2!

Friends wedding abroad

Hi all. I know this is FTM... But really need advice. I am currently pregnant with baby #2. Only 8 weeks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet, my partner and boss knows (needed for risk assessment reasons annoyingly). My friend is getting married in a remote part of Spain in ~3 months. I've already had a few minor complications, pain, bleeding, vanishing twin... I got preeclampsia last pregnancy and a terrible birth.
I am pretty sure I don't feel comfortable flying and then travelling out to a remote part of Spain during pregnancy. It will just be me and my toddler. I know it's overcautious but I just don't feel comfortable. I'm not even sure if I am going to be classified as high risk pregnancy or not.
How do I handle this? I need to tell her ASAP, but I didn't really want to tell anyone yet as doc told me miscarriage risk is a bit increased with vanishing twin. Any ideas?

Anxious/depressed

My first pregnancy symptom was my anxiety out of nowhere. I feel like I'm a bundle of nerves and just so scared of everything. Is anyone else feeling similar? How are you managing? Are we contributing it to hormones?
