My baby goes to sleep at around 8pm, but needs it to be dark and quiet (with white noise) so I’m just wondering what people do in similar circumstances? Atm I just listen to an audiobook but am finding me and hubby never spend anytime together?!

My one goes down about half 7/8 and we’re the same! I was always looking forward to this time but I’m upstairs in bed and he’s downstairs watching tv which has been the same 2 nights in a row 😂 I find looking after a 4 month all day I actually look forward to my own time as much I love my partner and my baby you also need time to yourself! Xx

Watch Virgin River in bed 😂 with baby sleeping alongside me. I got him use to noise while going to sleep so I quite like watching things in bed on an evening

I have to unwind after a full on tough day of parenting and my other half just tickles my back 😂

I put her into her cot in my room with some white noise and a baby monitor and watch some telly with my fella? x

I put him to bed upstairs with the baby monitor and watch tv downstairs with hubby for a bit or I’ll use the time to wind down, take a bath, eat snacks or catch up on my own shows

Put tv on, game, play board games. However all mine sleep with lights/noise etc, they learnt to sleep during noise and being out as sometimes there is just no other choice. Can you put them in the cot with a camera? Or see if you can turn the lights back on when they’re fully asleep?

Mine goes to bed at 6 pm. I put the monitor on and go downstairs to watch TV.

Go to sleep because I’m usually up a lot in the night with her 😴

My hubby works 4 nights a week so when he's at work I go to bed with baby, I've always had the TV on in the room so she gets used to sound and not needing to fall asleep in silence, so I just binge series until I fall asleep, when hubby is off work for 4 nights we put baby to bed as normal at 7.30 and put the monitor on and we will watch movies downstairs with snacks

My LG 4 months goes down at 7/30-8pm I put the nanny camera on her and go eat dinner then get ready for bed for 9/9:30 and watch/listen to the camera.

I’m very jealous of this post. Our little girl is 4 months and won’t go down to sleep in the bedroom until we are in there also. So we feed to sleep at 8pm and hold her until we go up!

Watch TV on the sofa with the baby monitor next to us. Every night when the baby goes down around 8pm, I consider going to bed too, but recently I'm trying to get out of that so it feels like I have some me time back

I finally feel comfortable to use the baby monitor. We watch TV upstairs in our spare bedroom next to our bedroom where baby is asleep. We started with day time naps using the monitor. Slowly getting more comfortable moving further away from the room 🙈 feels like a little bit of freedom. Before this we where both sitting next to eachother in bed beside baby (in next to me) with brightness turned down on our phones and earphones in watching our own shows 🙈😂 x
