Baby clothes

I'd get newborn too as some of these go up to 7lb depending on size when baby is here

I just get so excited when I go into shops and see all the cute bits and end up buying it especially if it’s in the sale 🤣 x

how many do you recommend buying? I’ve only bought 2 newborn sleepsuits so far x

I don’t recommend going overboard if I’m honest too much stuff is causing me problems
I was gifted a LOT of hand me downs plus I bought my own stuff and it takes time to find what to dress my girl in every day it’s so annoying and everything has to be reorganised regularly as I mess it all up when I’m rushing or her dad mixes everything up when he dresses her! A lot of my fave outfits just get worn, washed, then taken off the maiden to put her back in a few days later 😂

Tbh I had quite a lot of sleepsuits for my baby at the start because he used to have reflux so he needed a lot of outfit changes (from vomiting). Having more outfits means having to do less washloads if that makes sense. Otherwise you will need to do a wash more often.
Better to buy 0-3 months but even then don’t buy too many at the start as some babies have big feet so the foot part doesn’t fit them for long at all

Your first baby it is so exciting though, and the things you buy for your baby whilst you are pregnant will always be so sentimental. Also, you can get a patchwork blanket made with all your babies sleepsuits after he/she is done with them x

I think I brought 12 newborn sleepsuits and about 16 0-3. So glad I brought the newborn because my daughter was two weeks early and didn’t even fit them at first! I have to buy about 7 first size sleepers!

My little one is a week old, he weighted 8lbs and all the 0-3 are huge so after he got here I ordered a 4 pack of up to one month and will basically rotate those. Newborn were too small but I would recommend a few up to one month. So far no accidents so haven’t had to constantly change them x

I wouldn't go overboard with 0-3 cause they may not be in that size for too long but stock up on 3-6 and upwards. My daughter grew out of 0-3 really quickly but then was in 6-9 for ages but with BLW, lots of messy play and just being a baby she was constantly covered in all sorts and not every stain came out.
