Vanishing twin
We have been told one of our twins has not grown any more and therefore have suffered from vanishing twin syndrome. Other baby is doing really well. No symptoms and baby will be absorbed within myself and other baby.
Has anybody had this themselves, and has everything been okay for other baby? We have been told it will progress as a normal singleton pregnancy but obviously now very anxious.

Yea so I lost Baby A around week 8ish back in December of 21. Baby B was born healthy and I had no issue in July of 22. My body absorbed Baby A and there was no issues for me.
I am going through this now. How are you? Did they say when the sac will be absorbed x
sorry to hear you are also going through this. I'm now almost 25 weeks with a very active little baby kicking away. They just said over the next few weeks at that stage, at my next scan, I think it was 18 weeks there was no sac etc. Hope you are doing okay ❤️
Thanks for replying! I was 7.5 when they said about the empty scan. It was a shock as never heard about it before x
