Rant about clothing
Can I have a small rant about clothing these days?
Why is everything cropped???!! Like in Primark they have this beautiful coat but it’s cropped. Like I don’t want my stomach hanging out. Primark’s pjs again cropped. wtf is going on? And just now I was scrolling through TikTok and a live came up of a girl wearing a beautiful puffer jacket I click on it to take a look at the different colours again it’s cropped. I know cropped stuff is now the new trend but honestly it’s annoying as hell. I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this when going clothes shopping. Like I’m someone who doesn’t wanna wear cropped items because I have a mum tummy and my stomach is also covered in stretch marks, like yes I’m all for showing off my beautiful body I made a whole damn human but like the weather is getting colder, why would I wear a cropped coat my beautiful belly is gonna get cold.
Sorry for the rant but it’s getting annoying wanting to shop and finding nothing nice

I like a boxy cropped shape, granted I have high rise mom jeans - I’m a diehard Lucy and Yak fan. Before I found them I had never worn a cropped thing in my life!

Omg yes! This boxy look just doesn't suit most people... I thought it would be over by now
OMG, and BACKLESS! Why is everything backless? Like does no one need to wear a bra anymore? Especially on ASOS, every dress is backless, it drives me insane 😅
I say the exact same thing!! I literally pick things up and go ‘this is cute’ and then realise it’s cropped or I notice things that are cropped and say ‘I’d wear this if it wasn’t cropped’ 😅
And this is why my wardrobe is never update wardrobe and never have anything to wear. I’d much rather buy cute little clothes for my son than have the hassle of trying to find something in the shops I actually like.
Because everything has to be sexualised. If you're not showing all your skin, you're doing it wrong !

Yup I resort in wearing leggings and men’s tops at the minute but then I’ve always been more of a tomboy compared to wearing anything that shows too much x
I’ve never had the body for cropped so I hate it. I love some of the colors coming out right now and hate when it’s so revealing with cropped tops, too sheer or backless.
I definitely recommend looking into kibbe body geometry

I HATE cropped jackets/jumpers/hoodies I don’t get it you’re wearing them to be warm
I think it's because the trend now is to wear high rise bottoms with cropped tops. Not good for those of us with wide hips!
