After TTC and struggling, I went for some blood tests to check my fertility. I’ve got high Testosterone and AMH levels which both suggest PCOS (plus irregular cycles).
Has anyone began supplements (e.g Myo-inositol) and then successfully conceived? How long did it take you? And any other advice?
My BMI is slightly high (27 and 24.5 would be in healthy range) so I am going to try and lose some weight too, but I don’t feel optimistic that it will have a significant impact.

I came from a BMI of 47 to 32 (in the period of 1 year), and I conceived at that point. My period just regulated as I was losing weight, I lost a lot of body hair, and the hair in my head grew more in quantity (all of that suggest reduction in the testosterone levels). So, if you ask me yes, losing weight has an immense impact. For reference, I spent 13 years without contraception before I managed to lose weight.

Was the testosterone free testosterone? Or Free androgen index?
I thought I had high testosterone but you have to look at it in ratio to your SHBG. There is a calculator online
