Measure your water in babys bottle, tip water in nuby, then formula, shake and its done (people do the hot shot method but not sure how safe that is in regards to killing bacteria in formula)

Same as what Kerry said. If you tip the water into the nuby before adding the powder it immediately starts cooling it down and you can't be 100% sure the water is still hot enough to kill the bacteria.
So I add the water to the bottle, add the powder, shake. Then tip the mixture into the nuby cool. Shake until the nuby bit comes up green. Then I still check it on my wrist

I do
Fill grey bottle with hot water
Measure ml in bottle
Tip into white bottle
Shake to cool
Add it back to bottle
Add formula
Swill never shake

Saves having to wash the cooling nuby every day! I've done it this way for 10wk and baby has been perfectly fine

For mamas on the go with the nuby flask, I found this video on how to safely make bottles up without having to sterilise the cooling flask each and every feed . Great if you're out and about. I make all my bottles like this now 🙂
