Anyone else struggle with slow let down? This has only been an issue for me probably the past month. Before my letdown was really fast and strong. It’s still pretty strong but now it just takes like up to 5 minutes to come sometimes and it doesn’t help because my baby gets frustrated which stops her from sucking and stimulating the letdown. Anyone have any tips for this?

Yes, mama!! I noticed mine started getting lower after my last period. Usually it dips, or I feel like my supply is low during my period, but usually it's back to my normal after. However, this time it seems like it has stayed slow. It has been about a month for me too. Sorry I don't have much advice, just saying I'm right there with you!

It’s okay!! At least it feels nice to be able to relate haha , it’s the worst . I don’t notice my supply has dropped much but it’s just the letdown problem and it makes me feel so anxious to feed her in public because she gets really fussy and it takes so long to come that people stare at me sometimes 😭

yeah, I think my supply is there, once the letdown begins lol. My guy just kinda chills and gets distracted by something and that usually helps. But there are times where get gets fussy and frustrated too. You're not alone.
Awww, I'm so sorry. I know it's easier said than done, but dont let other people discourage you. You do what you gotta do for your baby, mama. I know it gets tricky with the fussiness while waiting for the letdown.

Thank you!!🥹❤️ it means so much. mine too! It’s so funny they get distracted so easily while feeding at this age 😂

Mine has slowed as well, what iv3 been doing is focusing on the baby's suckling and thinking very intensely on how my milk nourishes my baby. This meditation seems to help stimulate the let down more quickly

I'll definitely try this! Thank you!

Okay im so lost how do you ladies know??!?! I mean Gideon still nurse 8x a day

damn mama! Sometimes Oliver eats about 6 times a day. There are days where it isn't that much. As for the letdown, I can just tell it takes a bit because he has to suck a bunch before he starts gulping. When the letdown happens, he just gulps/swallows, and doesn't have to suck much.

for me, I feel the pressure of a letdown & my other boob gets a little hard during that time too!

this i feel my other boobs too.

yeah i nurse 5 during the day and 3-4 at night. 🤦🏻♀️

@Prexie for me it's like a swelling feeling that's moving outward from my boob, it was a little sore when it happened for the first 3 months or so, but its become more comfortable now
Some people don't feel it though, and that's normal too
