My little one is almost 3 months old. He’s very warm to touch even though the house is cold (to us - it’s around 15-16 degrees) but after checking his temp a couple times he is running at 36.8. This has been the case for a few days now and nothing seems to be working to settle him. He’s just in nappies / nothing for most of the day, he only sleeps in a thin sleep suit which he sweats through overnight.
Does anyone know an explanation for this ? Do i need to take him to see anyone ? I’m just super worried😬

Just warm blooded , my LG is the same , always nice and toasty to touch

Our boy is exactly the same. Body is so warm that we thought he was poorly but checked his temp and he was totally fine. Not sure what it is!

Same!!

I was worried about my son a while ago and rang 111. They asked me if his chest or back felt hot to the touch and I said "I've checked and he doesn't have a temperature" and the call handler said "I'm asking about whether he feels hot to you rather than whether he has a raised temperature" and said something about feeling hotter than normal being just as important as a raised temp? I didn't ask why though. So if there are other signs of him being ill and he won't settle then I would perhaps call 111 for advice x

Omg my girl is ALWAYS super warm to the touch and has been since day 1, she’s like a hot water bottle! We constantly have people telling us we need to take her clothes off and leave her in a nappy to cool down or people asking if she had a temperature but she doesn’t 🤷🏻♀️ she’s just a warm gal!
