I'm in Glen Oaks. I would love to be a part of a book club close that could meet up and chat over drinks.

I live in Glen Oaks and enjoy reading. I am excited at the thought of being part of a group that shares a similar passion!

I enjoy a good spicy read. 😋 Also mystery, romance, and self-help books as well. I use to go through books so fast, but since having my daughter, I haven't been able to find the time to read.

Happy dance for the spicy reads 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 I feel like I never meet anyone that likes spice 🌶️ I always get the side eye because I’m a major dark romance reader. It started with Fifty Shades of Grey and quickly spiraled into all things morally grey 😅 I get the part about not having time. I try to get my reads in through audible when I’m at work or driving. Once I get out of work it’s dinner, my sons homework, martial arts, soccer, PTA and class mom activities 😮‍💨

@Wendy, you know I haven't gotten into the audio books. I'm old fashion. I like to turn the page and hold the books in my hand. Lol, but I'm having my second baby next week, I don't think I'll ever get a chance to read a book again 🤦🏾‍♀️. So I'm thinking of giving audio books a try.

You should give them a try! They can be cringy if the narrator is bad but you will definitely luck out with some good ones! I have a tbr shelf of physical books I don’t know if I will ever get to lol.

Ooh yes, very much so... nervous isn't the word. I will have Irish twins. My daughter isn't even one year old yet. She turns one on October 28th. So, two under one.

So audio books may be my new bestie. If you have any good suggestions please send them my way.
