Hi, my 7 month baby has a really sore bottom, I’m changing nappies on time so I’m not sure what might have caused it.
She does seem to be doing multiple poos in the day which is causing the irritation.
I’ve attached some images, can anyone give me any advice on what I can use or what I can use to ease the rash. The images don’t really show how bad it is, it’s quite bumpy and some areas peeling.

Yellow metanium cream is magic.

it could be the nappies or wipes you’re using? have you switched that up recently? i’d use bepanthen and then a barrier cream like vaseline

We’re in a very similar position. Really sore, and lots of poos all through the day at the moment. Also unsure what’s causes it! We’re currently using metanium, which is helping, but might try and switch to weluda as it’s just not clearing! We’re using cotton wool and water for changes.

We found the yellow cream brilliant. Runny poos do tend to cause it - mine can get it after one poo even when we change the nappy almost immediately.
A friend ended up in A&E with really severe (bleeding) nappy rash and were recommended orabase (which is primarily for mouth ulcers, but apparently worked) - however that is probably a last resort if really bad.

My daughter had this last week. Worst rash she’d ever had. B5 Panthenol cream & as much nappy free time as possible sorted it out in a few days. Sudocreme which is my normal go to only seemed to make it worse. She’s teething this week so could have been related but she had a cold last week & chicken pox the 2 weeks before that. She was pretty much poorly for the whole of September
