Anyone familiar with mastitis??

I went to urgent care for it and it’s like I keep getting hit with chills and fever while on antibiotics 😞

I'm on dicloxacillan and I had those symptoms pre-antibiotics

Agree with the above but DONT feed as much as possible - you want to fully drain your breast once then resume as usual - if you feed and pump more than normal this will increase your supply which is not something you want to do at the moment

midwives disagree with you. The more milk you move, the more it'll flush out the clog that caused the mastitis. We can always regulate the supply later. Priority is to cure the infection.

Respectively disagree and my mum is a lactation consultant and a midwife
